DRYWALL DISPOSAL FAQ

Our Service

TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS

01

CLEAN DATE STAMPED DRYWALL
(1990-CURRENT)

If you have clean drywall that is date-stamped from 1990 onwards, you’re in luck—this type of drywall is the easiest to dispose of. Clean drywall typically refers to new, unused sheets that have not been painted, treated, or contaminated in any way. We offer disposal of this material, and no paperwork is needed.

02

USED DRYWALL DATE STAMPED
(1990-CURRENT)

Used drywall, even if it’s date-stamped from 1990 onwards, needs a bit more attention during disposal. This category includes drywall that has been painted, treated, or otherwise utilized in construction or renovation. We offer disposal services for this category of drywall, at the same price point as clean drywall.

03

NON DATE STAMPED DRYWALL
(PRE-1990, ASBESTOS)

Drywall containing asbestos is the most hazardous and strictly regulated category. Asbestos was commonly used in building materials until the late 1980s, and while date-stamped drywall from 1990 onwards is generally safe, older homes and renovations might still involve asbestos-containing materials.

Before disposal, have the drywall tested by a certified professional to confirm the presence of asbestos. Even if the drywall is not date-stamped, testing can determine whether it contains asbestos.

We do offer asbestos containing drywall disposal services, however, we will not take asbestos containing drywall unless it has been tested and is accompanied by the required paperwork for disposal. If you have any questions on how to obtain this, please reach out.

Note: We charge a higher price on the disposal of drywall that contains asbestos due to the severity of health risks it presents (2x our normal, volume based rate).
